Be the best version of You
An afternoon of workshops for mothers and daughters
Saturday 19th May
1.30 - 6.00pm
For this event, we are teaming up with some great people to give mothers and daughters an afternoon of three brilliant workshops.
Natasha is a body image expert for BBC Radio, who also writes regularly for the national press. She has worked with 10,000 teenagers throughout the UK, delivering self-esteem classes into schools and colleges. Her work has won several awards, including one from the
Mental Health Association. This workshop builds confidence by examining the negative beliefs which hold us back and ways in which we can conquer them to achieve our potential.
Natasha says: “We chose to do an event for Mums and daughters because we noticed that in the press mothers are blamed a lot for their daughters’ insecurities and we didn’t think that was necessarily right. There are many close mother and daughter partnerships, when you look around London, and that’s a wonderful thing to see. This will be a really lovely, bonding experience for a mother and daughter team and something we hope they will always remember”.
Isobel has over 20 years’ experience in fashion and styling. She has appeared on TV and styled many celebrity clients, including Katie Piper. She is Head of Styling at NHJ Style – founded by TV presenter and celebrity stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones (best known for presenting 5 series of 10 Years Younger). This workshop teaches women how to dress for their body shape. Whether you are an athletic size 8, or a curvy size 18, Isobel has the knowledge and tips to help you look and feel fabulous. The aim of the three workshops is to help those attending to be the very best version of themselves
– To make their own style and food rules and to be confident in their choices.
The trio of workshops will obviously include a Beyond Chocolate workshop too
A Mothers, Daughters & Food workshop by Beyond Chocolate founders and authors Sophie & Audrey Boss
We are especially delighted to be working with mothers and daughters as we know that a mother’s own approach to weight loss and body confidence directly impacts the way her daughter will feel about herself and about food later on in life. This workshop will give both mothers and daughters essential insights on how to avoid the most common dieting pitfalls and how to have a guilt free, balanced approach to eating so that they will know how to support each other to feeling happy with the way they eat and they way they look.
