Dear Chocolate Fairies....

We received this lovely email the other day from a happy Beyond Chocolater and wanted to share it with you - how was your Christmas this year??

Dear Audrey and Sophie

I just want to say thank you for the support you offer with Beyond Chocolate.

This Christmas I have eaten very well, enjoyed mince pies, cheese, wine, Christmas cake, chocolates …

I have not felt overfull let alone stuffed and I haven’t beaten myself up once. And most of the time I wasn’t even aware of tuning in or of checking if I needed it. It seemed to happen naturally most of the time. I just stopped when I had had enough. Or felt easy saying no without then going home and bingeing because I’d missed out.

This is a complete first.

Even my dress – which I hadn’t worn for a while - felt a little looser. Only a tiny bit but hey! I haven’t weighed myself, I’m not planning on cutting down in the new year and I feel great.

Thank you.

I feel released from years and years and years of obsession, utter torment and self – loathing.

You do good stuff.

I wish you both a joyful and prosperous year ahead.

Best wishes,
Grace

  1. What a wonderful email. I feel exactly the same as Grace and have enjoyed the most relaxing Christmas/New Year for many years. I am so content and calm now. I think my personality has changed as a result of putting the BC principles in place. Thank you!

  3. I also enjoyed Christmas food without a single thought of a New Year diet or any sort of diet at all. I definitely over-ate, but that was part of my plan - I intended to over-eat because of all the extra time and effort and expense that went into all the wonderful festive foods. However, like Grace, I didn't subject myself to any kind of back-lash in response to the over-eating. It happened, I enjoyed eating the foods and now it's over and I'm back to taking each day as it comes and still enjoying my food!
